1. Who we are

Tourbodies, 23/8, Gangadhara Chetty Road, Bangalore – 560042, Karnataka, India, operates this website and decides how your personal data is used for the purposes below. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law.

2. What we collect

• Enquiries: your name, email, phone number (optional), the destination you are interested in, and your message.
• Trip planning: travel dates, number and ages of travellers, and the hotel standard and options you choose.
• Bookings: lead traveller name, email, phone, departure airport and any notes. For business bookings, GSTIN and registered business name.
• Travel details we may ask for to confirm services: names as in passports, dates of birth, and passport details for visas, insurance or supplier requirements, plus dietary or accessibility needs you choose to tell us.
• Payments: Razorpay processes your payment. We receive the payment reference, amount, status and method type, but never your full card number, CVV or banking password.
• Conversations: messages you send us by email or WhatsApp.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and request logs, used to keep the site secure and prevent abuse.

3. How we use it

• To answer enquiries, prepare quotations and plan your trip.
• To make and manage bookings with suppliers, take payments and process refunds.
• To send booking confirmations, travel documents and important updates about your trip.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting duties, such as GST invoices and TCS records.
• To protect the website and our customers from fraud and misuse.
• To send offers or newsletters, only if you have agreed, and you can opt out at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share only what each party needs:

• Travel suppliers such as hotels, transfer companies, tour operators, airlines and insurers, many of them outside India in the countries you visit, so they can provide your services.
• Razorpay, to process payments and refunds.
• Service providers who host and run our website and email, under contracts that limit their use of your data.
• WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to message us there, under WhatsApp's own privacy terms.
• Government authorities, such as embassies for visas, or when the law requires it.

5. Cookies

The website uses only cookies and similar storage that it needs to work. We do not currently use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while we are helping you and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Booking, invoice and payment records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. Passport and identity details are kept only as long as needed for your trip. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

7. Keeping it safe

The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to customer data is limited to staff who need it to handle your trip. Card data is handled entirely by Razorpay and never touches our systems.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
• correct or update it;
• erase it, unless we must keep it for a booking in progress or by law;
• withdraw consent you have given, for example to marketing; and
• nominate someone to exercise these rights for you in case of death or incapacity.

9. Children

Bookings are made by adults. We collect details of children only from their parent or guardian, and only what is needed for the trip.

10. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
